Classic Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 cup creamy peanut butter
• 1 large egg
• 18 milk chocolate candy kisses, unwrapped

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for baking the cookies.
2. In a large bowl, thoroughly combine the sugar, peanut butter, and egg until you achieve a well-mixed consistency.
3. Form the dough into 1-inch balls. If the dough is too sticky to work with, chill it in the refrigerator for approximately 30 minutes until it becomes easier to handle.
4. Arrange the dough balls on a cookie sheet without greasing it.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops exhibit slight cracks.
6. Gently press a chocolate kiss into the center of each warm cookie. Transfer them to a wire rack and allow them to cool completely.
