Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Combine cracker crumbs, 3 tablespoons sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan (2 ¾ inch high sides). Bake for about 8 minutes, until golden brown. Cool crust on a rack. Keep the oven at the same temperature.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla with an electric mixer until smooth. Mix in 1 cup sour cream and Irish cream liqueur. Add eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined. Pour the mixture over the crust.
