For Tango's first birthday, I created these treats combining his favorite flavors. Ensure you're using natural peanut butter without any added salt, sugar, or other unnecessary ingredients. Store extra treats in the refrigerator to keep them fresh.

1.25 cups quick-cooking oats
1 cup grated apple
0.5 cup natural peanut butter

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
In a large bowl, thoroughly mix the carrots, oats, and apple. In a separate bowl, whisk together the peanut butter and eggs. Pour the peanut butter mixture into the oat mixture and stir until everything is well combined.
Drop approximately 1 1/2 tablespoonfuls of batter onto the prepared baking sheets. Gently flatten each scoop to about 1/2 inch thickness using your hands.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the treats are firm to the touch and start to brown slightly on the bottom. Allow the treats to cool briefly on the baking sheets before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
