Easy Instant Pot Haluski Recipe with Kielbasa

Ingredients

• 1 small yellow onion, diced
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1 medium head cabbage, shredded
• 1 pound kielbasa sausage, sliced
• 2 cups chicken broth
• 1 (12 ounce) bag egg noodles
• salt and ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Turn on your Instant Pot and select the Sauté function. Add the chopped onion and butter. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion is lightly browned, about 1 to 2 minutes. Add the shredded cabbage and sliced kielbasa; cook and stir until the cabbage begins to soften, approximately 10 minutes. Stir in the chicken broth and egg noodles, ensuring everything is well combined.
2. Secure the Instant Pot lid, ensuring it is locked properly. Select the high-pressure setting according to the manufacturer's directions. Set the timer for 3 minutes. Allow the Instant Pot approximately 10 to 15 minutes to build pressure.
3. Once the cooking cycle is complete, carefully release the pressure using the quick-release method, following the manufacturer's instructions. This should take about 5 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid. Season the Haluski with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Serve immediately and enjoy!
