Easy Peaches and Cream Squares Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
• 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
• 0.5 cup sugar
• 0.5 teaspoon almond extract, or more to taste
• 1 (21 ounce) can peach pie filling
• 0.5 cup flour
• 0.25 cup firmly packed brown sugar
• 3 tablespoons margarine or butter, softened
• 0.5 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 2 long rectangles. Press the dough into an ungreased 9x13-inch baking pan, ensuring it covers the bottom and sealing any perforations.
3. In a mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to beat together cream cheese, sugar, and almond extract until smooth. Spread this mixture evenly over the prepared dough. Spoon peach pie filling uniformly over the cream cheese layer.
