Irresistible Glazed Ham Recipe with Tropical Mango Sauce

Ingredients

• 1 (10 pound) fully-cooked, bone-in ham
• 2 cups mango nectar, divided, or more as needed
• 0.5 cup packed brown sugar
• 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
• 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger root
• 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 0.25 teaspoon ground cloves
• 1 cup mango preserves
• 0.5 cup white wine

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for baking.
2. Using a serrated knife, score the top of the ham in a diamond pattern. Place the ham on a roasting rack inside a roasting pan. Pour 1 ½ cups of mango nectar evenly over the ham.
3. Bake in the preheated oven until the ham's internal temperature reaches 140 degrees F (60 degrees C), approximately 1 ½ to 2 hours. Increase the oven temperature to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
4. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, Dijon mustard, grated ginger root, ground cinnamon, and ground cloves.
5. In a saucepan, mix together mango preserves, white wine, and the remaining 1/2 cup of mango nectar. Bring the mixture to a boil, then stir in the brown sugar mixture. Reduce the heat to low and simmer until the glaze thickens, about 2 to 4 minutes.
6. Brush the glaze generously all over the ham. Continue baking until the glaze is bubbling and slightly caramelized, about 10 minutes more. Remove the ham from the oven and allow it to rest for 15 to 20 minutes before carving and serving.
