Spooky Halloween Eye of Newt Deviled Eggs Recipe

Ingredients

• 12 eggs eggs
• 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
• 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
• 1 pinch celery salt
• 1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
• 2 drops green food coloring, or as needed
• 1 (6 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained

Instructions

1. Gather all of your ingredients.
2. Place the eggs in a single layer at the bottom of a large pot. Cover the eggs with cold water. Bring the water to a boil, then cover the pot, remove from heat, and let the eggs stand for 15 minutes. Rinse the eggs under cold water or add ice to cool completely.
3. Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Mix the yolks with relish, mayonnaise, celery salt, mustard, and food coloring.
4. Spoon the yolk filling back into the egg whites, placing them on a serving tray. Use a spoon to round the top of each filling.
5. Place an olive slice on top of each yolk to create the 'eye' center. Dab a small amount of mayonnaise in the center of each olive as a final touch.
