Wilderness Place Lodge Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

• 2 cups butter
• 2 cups white sugar
• 2 cups packed brown sugar
• 4 eggs eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 6 cups quick cooking oats
• 2 cups chocolate chips
• 2 cups chopped and toasted walnuts
• 1 cup coconut
• 1 cup raisins

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease your cookie sheets for baking.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth and well combined. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking soda; gradually stir this dry mixture into the creamed sugar mixture until just incorporated. Gently mix in oats, followed by chocolate chips, nuts, coconut, and raisins. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets, leaving some space between each.
3. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely. Enjoy!
