1 onion, sliced
2 tablespoons salt
1.5 cups white sugar
0.5 cup apple cider vinegar

Instructions

Combine cucumbers, onion, and salt in a bowl and let sit for 2 hours. Ensure they are well-drained.
In a saucepan, mix sugar and vinegar over medium-low heat. Stir continuously until the sugar is fully dissolved, approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool completely.
Pour the cooled vinegar mixture over the cucumbers and onion, ensuring they are evenly coated. Transfer the mixture to large, resealable freezer bags and store in the freezer for optimal preservation.
